    Asus will noch diesen Monat zwei leichte Mini-Notebooks mit Linux und Flashspeicher statt Festplatte verkaufen. Asus präsentierte auf der Computex seine Variante eines besonders kostengünstigen Mini-Notebooks, den EeePC, in zwei Versionen. Die drei "E" stehen für das Konzept hinter dem Gerät: Easy to learn, easy to play, easy to work. Prozessor und Chipsatz sind von Intel, als Betriebssystem kommt ein angepasstes Linux zum Einsatz.
