Niseko in Japan has had over 12 metres of Powder already and they say that the peak gets around 18 metres a season. I Ripped up the Niseko peak in under 14 mins... 1100 steps. sweatin and puffin with Amazing views of the sea of Japan
Had my headcam on and had first trax down the east face ridin to Hanazono.. Bluebird day with plenty of the fresh super dry fluffy stuff. The K2 Gyrator was flyin and felt like I was on rails.... Im in love... :)))))

Most lifts are set to be spinning with the terrain park open for practise before the Big Air. Peak gates in Niseko Japan are scheduled to open.
Very strong northeasterly winds are expected this afternoon and should ease considerably by Thursday night. Wind chill is down to -17 with a top of -3 degrees.
Friday is shaping up to be the pick over the next few days with a chance of some sun and good fresh lines.

Hanazono 308 is in fact situated at 308 metres above sea level, or exactly 1,000 metres below the peak of Mount Niseko-Annupuri. That means exactly 1,000 vertical metres of non-stop pure perfect powder snow to be enjoyed, from the very top of Mount Niseko-Annupuri to the doorstep of Hanazono 308. It is an adventure that can only be found only on the most coveted side of Niseko mountain, the Hanazono side.
