Had my headcam on and had first trax down the east face ridin to Hanazono.. Bluebird day with plenty of the fresh super dry fluffy stuff. The K2 Gyrator was flyin and felt like I was on rails.... Im in love... :)))))

Most lifts are set to be spinning with the terrain park open for practise before the Big Air. Peak gates in Niseko Japan are scheduled to open.
Very strong northeasterly winds are expected this afternoon and should ease considerably by Thursday night. Wind chill is down to -17 with a top of -3 degrees.
Friday is shaping up to be the pick over the next few days with a chance of some sun and good fresh lines.

8 lifts are expected to be up and running in Hanazono/Hirafu.
Currently the snow depth at the base is 40 cms and 80 up top. Wind chill is down to - 14 with a day time high of - 1.
West northwesterly winds should be generally moderate throughout the day.

YAY! According to Professor Pow the big storm may hit Niseko in Japan this Sunday. The blessing ceremony at Hanazono today was inspiring.
